About our series of hypnosis courses and NGH Certification:

To attain NHG Certification, students must complete these four courses: 1) Basic Hypnosis Training, 2) Intermediate Hypnosis Training, 3) Master Hypnosis Training, and 4) Advanced Practitioner Training. Each course is a prerequisite for the next.

As long as you have completed any pre-requisites courses, it is possible to sign up and take any of our hypnosis courses individually. The four-course combination price offers a great savings and is what the vast majority of our students sign up for.

National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., (NGH) The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., (NGH) is a not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1951 the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism. NGH has over 6000 members, with over 70 local chapters world wide (NYC has a chapter with regular meetings). A growing percentage of members have academic credentials in other fields, including medicine, psychology, counseling and nursing. They provide an open forum for the free exchange of ideas concerning hypnotism. The Guild is a resource for members and a vehicle for legal and legislative action. They are best known for their yearly conference in New Hampshire where hundreds of hypnotherapists from all over the world teach and share information...

Tribeca Hypnosis & Healing Institute is recognized by NGH, which means people who are members can take courses here and receive the 15 CEU's necessary to continue their yearly membership.

Prerequisites: You must be a Certified Hypnotherapist, or have completed Peter Blum's Basic, Intermediate, and Masters weekend Hypnosis Courses.

Peter Blum has had a full-time practice in Medical and Clinical Hypnosis since 1988. Peter Blum Recently won the Certified Instructor of 2004 Award from the National Guild of Hypnotists. He is ordained as an Interfaith Minister and considers hypnosis a spiritual art-form. He has studied with many great teachers and healers, including Richard Zarro, Anne Linden, Dr. Paul Carter, Dr. Ernest Rossi, Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona, Dr. Scout Cloud Lee and Native American shaman Beautiful Painted Arrow. For five years he was Director of Stress Management at The Center for Progressive Medicine, working with patients referred by holistic physicians. Known for his humorous and dynamic teaching style, he has been a popular presenter at numerous conferences (NGH, IMDHA, IHF, etc.) and is considered one of the foremost teachers of Ericksonian hypnosis. Peter is co-author of "The Phonebook: Breakthrough Neurolinguistic Phone Skills for Profit & Enlightenment", and has produced 5 CD's in the "Sounds for Healing" series, featuring the Tibetan Singing Bowls.

  • Upon completion of this course students will receive their National Guild of Hypnoptists Certification
